Top model Alessandra Ambrosio opens the 2010 Cancun Fashion Nextel wearing Zingara Swimwear
Cancun’s Hotel Le Blanc dressed up on November 20 to receive the greatest names in Latin American fashion for the 2010 Cancun Fashion Nextel (in spanish: Cancún Moda Nextel 2010), acclaimed as one of the most important fashion events in Mexico and Latin America.
The event, in its third edition, invites renowned international top models and this year it was dazzling Brazilian Alessandra Ambrosio’s turn to wear in the runway a piece of each one of the collections. At the same time, a team of 70 models captivated the audience with the different 2011 Spring-Summer looks.
Zingara was present in the event, not only as sponsor, but was also responsible for opening the runway show with its new swimwear collection. Our models presented the collection while parading on an impressive runway, and here are the photos of our show!

The third edition of the Nextel Cancun Fashion also gathered a group of present-day prominent designers such as Mexicans Alexia Ulibarri and Clara González, Colombian Esteban Cortázar, Ecuadorian Gustavo Moscoso and Victorio & Lucchino from Spain.
The Cancún Moda Nextel 2010 summoned well-known personalities and artists such as Lupita Jones, Celina del Villar, Altair Jarabe, Gretel Valdéz, René Strickler, Jorge Van Rankin Arellano, Mariana Garza, Luis de Llano y Óscar Cadena. The event was conducted by Martha Debayle, a celebrated communicator.

Peter Foyo, president and general manager of Nextel Mexico affirmed that the company has become a distinguished promoter of Mexican fashion with the different events it has been organizing in Cancun, Jalisco, Monterrey and Acapulco for the past years.
Once the runway show was over, Dominican singer Juan Luis Guerra delighted all with a musical performance, and everyone danced to the rhythm of his many successes such as “Ojalá que llueva café”, “Burbujas de amor” and “La Bilirrubina”.
